Good morning. I am very glad to be here for this interview. My name is xuhaobo, and my English name is Jacky Lee. I've finished my undergraduate education in Xidian University, Majoring in Electronic Science and Technology in the college of Technical Physics.

你的个性对你报考的专业有何积极的作用。如果报考的是学术性的专业，可以说自己细心(carefully，detail-oriented)、条理分明(logical)、踏实(steady)等;如果是研究性、应用性更强一点的专业，可以说自己负责(responsible)、可靠(dependable)、有效率(efficient)等。
除了强调你对学习的重视，同时也要避免给考官一种“书呆子”的感觉。一般可以从体育、音乐、电影等方面来说，同时要简单说明这些爱好对你的积极意义(build my body, relax myself, open my mind…）
I am open-minded and have broad interests like playing basketball, reading and especially in engineering such as software programming, website design, hardware design. For example, during the past four years, I have accomplished two websites: one is the website of our school, and the other is the website of the doctor forum of china 2007. Furthermore, I am interested in C plus plus programming language and have written some application programs. In July in the last year,I finished my graduate project with flying colors,which was a software application about Image Process . In addition, I have also finished some projects about embedded system by using MCU when I was a junior.
为什么想读研,将来愿意从事的方向,读研时的打算
好多同学都因为工作原因选择考研，但真正表达时，最好说对这个专业的喜爱，愿意去研究，愿意去学习，再表明自己在读研时的态度，就可以了。
Although I have broad interests in many aspects and grasp the essential knowledge of the major, but I think at present, I can do many things in a superficial level, but not be competent to do things professionally owing to lack of ample knowledge and ability. So I think furthering study is still urgent for me to realize self-value. The major that I hope pursue for my further education is IC design. Because I find integrated circuits are playing a more and more important role in our modern society. And nowadays in China, with the recognition by the government, our domestic integrated circuits industry is growing rapidly and that may provide a lot of chances to us. I plan to concentrate on study and research in this field in my graduate time. And I hope I can form a systematic view of micro electronics and IC design technology and make a solid foundation for future profession after three years study here.

英语除了范文外，大家最好还要多背几篇，每个学校侧重点都不一样，如果同学们能事先找到相关院校相关学长学姐，问清每年的面试情况，是最好不过的了，但这对好多同学来说，都有点难。最好的办法，还是多背几篇。网上范文很多，同学可以按专业特色自行搜索背诵几篇，但是一定要先把范文改成自己的`，确认语法无误后，再背诵。
最后，总结一下自我介绍的要点：
自我介绍体现的就是学员的应变及反应能力。也是一种说服的手段与艺术。同学们要按研究生学业的要求与测试重点而组织自我介绍的内容， 与面试无关的内容，既使是你引以为荣的优点和长处，你也要忍痛舍弃，以突出重点。
自我介绍要有充分的信心。要想让考官们欣赏你，你必须明确地告诉考官们你具有必需的能力与素质，而只有你对此有信心并表现出这种信心后，你才证明了自己。同学们在谈自己的优点的一个明智的办法是就在谈到自己的优点时，保持低调。也就是轻描淡写、语气平静。

自我介绍不宜死记，要记住自己想讲清楚的思路和几个要点：
1、基本情况（姓名、年龄、家乡、本科学校及专业）
2、兴趣爱好、性格（要契合报考专业）
3、选择该学校专业的理由（夸赞的时候要感情真实发自肺腑）
多准备几个可以说的点，到时候根据要求和实际情况随机应变。
介绍自己的时候要给老师一种侃侃而谈的感觉，如果死记硬背，很可能在高度紧张的情况下忘记，而且即使想起来，也会让老师看出你在背，我们曾经见过的例子是，老师看出来你背自我介绍，直接打断不要继续听。
