◆ 名人演讲稿英文 ◆
演讲的开头,也叫开场白。它在演讲稿的结构中处于显要的地位,具有特殊的作用。演讲稿的开头,通常有以下几种:
1)开门见山,揭示主题
一般政治性的或者学术性的演讲稿都是开门见山,直接揭示演讲的中心。比如宋庆龄《在接受加拿大维多利亚大学荣誉法学博士学位仪式上的讲话》的开头:“我为接受加拿大维多利亚大学荣誉法学博士学位感到荣幸。”
运用这种方法,必须先明确把握演讲的中心,把要向听众揭示的论点摆出来,使听众一听就知道讲的中心是什么,注意力马上集中起来。但这种方法容易显得过于平淡、冷静,很难吸引人。
2)说明情况,介绍背景。
比如恩格斯《在马克思墓前的讲话》的开头:“三月十四日两点三刻,当代最伟大的思想家停止了思想,……--但已经永远的睡着了。”
这个开头对事情发生的时间地点人物作出了必要的说明,为进一步向听众揭示论题做准备。运用这种方法开头,一定要从演讲的的中心论点出发,不能信口开河,离题万里,更要防止套话、空话,败坏听者的胃口。
3)提出问题,引起关注。
写演讲稿的开头,可根据听众的特点和演讲的内容,提出一些激发听众思考的问题,以引起听众的兴趣。这种问题应该新颖、独特,确实能促使听众去思考。
演讲稿的开头有多种方法,通常用的主要有:
1.开门见山,提示主题。这种开头是一开讲,就进入正题,直接提示演讲的中心。例如宋庆龄《在接受加拿大维多利亚大学荣誉法学博士学位仪式上的讲话》的开头:“我为接受加拿大维多利亚大学荣誉法学博士学位感到荣幸。”运用这种方法,必须先明晰地把握演讲的中心,把要向听众提示的论点摆出来,使听众一听就知道讲的中心是什么,注意力马上集中起来。

开场白技巧
1.开门见山,不讲多余的话
有的人演讲,开头常讲一些没有必要的客套话。叶圣陶对此曾评述说:“谁也明白,这些都是谦虚的话。可是,在说出来之前,演讲者未免少了一点思考。你说不曾预备,没有什么可以说的,那么为什么要上演说台呢?随后说出来的,无论是三言二语或长篇大论,又算不算'可以说的’呢?你说随便说说,没有什么意思,那么刚才的一本正经,是不是连场作欢呢?自己都相信不过的话,却要说给人家听,又算是一种什么态度呢?”其实,演讲者说这种“多余的话”,并不一定是出自本心,不过是受了陈规旧套的影响,听人家这么说,自己也这么说,结果,往往是使听众松弛了注意力。

这样的开头,使听众一听就知道明白讲的是是什么,注意力马上就能集中起来。
2.交代背景,说明演讲的目的和原因

What fear can teach us

One day in 1819, 3,000 miles off the coast of Chile, in one of the most remote regions of the Pacific Ocean, 20 American sailors watched their ship flood with seawater.

Well let's return to the year 1819 for a moment, to the situation facing the crew of the whaleship Essex. Let's take a look at the fears that their imaginations were generating as they drifted in the middle of the Pacific.

Now we might just as easily call these fears by a different name. What if instead of calling them fears, we called them stories?

Because that's really what fear is, if you think about it. It's a kind of unintentional storytelling that we are all born knowing how to do. And fears and storytelling have the same components.

They dreamed up a variety of horrifying scenarios. The problem was that they listened to the wrong story. Of all the narratives their fears wrote, they responded only to the most lurid, the most vivid, the one that was easiest for their imaginations to picture: cannibals.

My heart is filled up with gratitude because I’m with you/Your make me courageous to be myself from cradle to the grave/So now I wanna thank for destiny/I’ll cherish the flower when it blooms until falls. The poetic lyric tells us that gratitude is actually a state of mind.
Once upon a time, the Pilgrims took the May Flower Ship to North America. They started a new life there although a lot of difficulties and hardships they encountered. After a long-time work, they got a big harvest. The Pilgrims had a feast in 1621 near Plymouth, Massachusetts, which is often referred to as the first Thanksgiving. People show their sincere gratitude towards the God, the nature, the earth, the river, the Indians and themselves.
How can we express our gratitude? It’s never a simple question to answer. Gratitude is a rare jewel, not a piece of cake, I know. But how can we expect such big events happening now and then? How can we be ready to say thank you ahead of time? How can we always hope to be grateful to everything and everyone for their dignity and generosity? Sometimes I may ask to myself. Is it moral? Is it honest? Is it beneficial? Is it necessary? Or the most interesting one, is it ridiculous? Ha-ha…So in my opinion, we’d better concentrate on our life’s details.
At last, what’s the significance of showing our gratitude? A proverb says that Gratitude is the sign of noble souls. Wow! Until now I am not that kind of giant, but I dare to say that everyone, you and me, has the right and the duty to show our gratitude to the world, no matter rich or poor, happy or sad, young or old. Only by doing so can we achieve our human ultimate concern. Meanwhile it obviously helps to build up a harmonious society.
All in all, a world full of gratitude is preciously expected for thousands of years. Why not show our gratitude to people around you?

writing at its best is a lonely life. organizations for writers palliate the writer's loneliness, but i doubt if they improve his writing. he grows in public stature as he sheds his loneliness and often his work deteriorates. for he does his work alone, and if he is a good enough writer, he must face eternity or the lack of it each day.

for a true writer, each book should be a new beginning where he tries again for something that is beyond attainment. he should always try for something that has never been done or that others have tried and failed. then sometimes, with good luck, he will succeed.
对于一个真正的作家来说,每一本书都应该成为他继续探索那些尚未涉及的领域的一个新起点。他应该永远尝试去做那些从来没有人做过或者他人做过但却已经失败的事。这样他就会有幸获得成功。
how simple the writing of literature would be if it were only necessary to write in another way what has been well written. it is because we have had such great writers in the past that a writer is driven far out past where he can go, out to where no one can help him.

We Are The World ,We Are The Future
Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.
We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshness of the deep spring of life.
A poet said “To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. Several days ago, I had a chance to listen to a lecture. I learnt a lot there. I’d like to share it with all of you. Let’s show our right palms. We can see three lines that show how our love.career and life is. I have a short line of life. What about yours? I wondered whether we could see our future in this way. Well, let’s make a fist. Where is our future? Where is our love, career, and life? Tell me.Yeah, it is in our hands. It is held in ourselves.
We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go better itself. Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. From the past, we’ve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. We’ve learnt that we can’t choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it. Failure doesn’t mean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a different way. Failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder.
As what I said at the beginning, “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. The past has gone. Nothing we do will change it. But the future is in front of us. Believe that what we give to the world, the world will give to us. 中国几千年来“官本位”的思想之所以长盛不衰,是因为“官员”手中的权力是一种垄断性资源,这种资源可以用来与商人进行交易
给我们讲了一个天才商人辉煌时的故事。一代丝绸巨商沈一石,在生意场上和政治斗争的旋涡里,练就了一身本领,他运筹帷幄,决胜千里,来往于官场、商场、情场,如鱼得水,游刃有余。尽显一时之风光。古语说得好,得胜于斯,必败于斯,其兴也勃焉,其亡也忽焉。
在沈一石身上,我们看到了商人的智慧、商人的狂妄、商人的霸道、商人的无奈,以及商人在官场斗争中的最后下场。沈一石的命运无不与那个时代的政治和经济制度息息相关。
“当官”不成直接“发财”
皇粮从法理上是皇帝的私有财产,要侵犯私有产权从来就不大容易。由于皇粮有限,造成官场资源稀缺,官位的稀缺凸显了封建社会官职的高贵。这种高贵对于多数谋求当官的人来说,除了光宗耀祖之外,还与发财联系在一起。于是,当官成为一举两得、名利双收的事。
在中国漫长的封建社会,“当官”与“发财”紧密相关。这可以用经济学来解释:皇帝们既没有能力靠一己之力或一家之力打理江山,又必须找一个说得过去的理由统治江山,所以,不得不报出一个有诱惑力的市场价格,以便吸引普天下的“职业经理人”。
对于许许多多有理想、有抱负却又由于各种原因当不到官的人来说,既然“当官”是和“发财”联在一起的,那么,在当不到官的情况下,直接去“发财”也是一条捷径。有一首打油诗说得好:“老天下雪不下雨,下雪之后变成雨,下雪变雨多费事,不如现在就下雨。”
君子爱财,取之有道。爱财之心,人皆有之,只是“道”不同而已。皇帝能够“忽悠”天下人才为己所用的一个绝招,就是为广大读书人提供取财之“正道”??当官。倘若没有机会走上当官的“正道”,尽管是一大不幸,但如果能退而求其次,通过经商来实现发财的愿望,也是挺好的。在从商的路上,中国并不缺乏人才。
沈一石是中国皇权专制制度下的典型商人。他很有商业嗅觉,也很有管理能力;他很会算账,也很懂官场潜规则。别看他挥金如土、花天酒地,但不忘在官员面前穿上粗布衣服,以示贫贱;他自己喝凉白开,把最好的茶递给官人喝。在以挣钱为唯一目标的前提下,他什么事都想得出来,什么事都做得出来。他敢在官人身上花钱,敢在女人身上花钱。在他看来,凭他的智慧和经济实力,在浙江省就没有什么搞不定的事。这一点他的确做到了。
丝绸的出口是宫里直接掌控的国有垄断项目。沈一石虽然没有学过经济学,但他知道“一切利润都在垄断之中”的经济学道理。所以,他花重金从苏州买下芸娘,专门侍候江南织造局的监正杨公公,当了杨金水的“对食”。有了这个靠山,他才能成为江南织造局最大的织造商。并且在嘉靖三十七年,江南织造局报司礼监呈奏皇上特赏沈一石六品功名顶戴。
清朝的官帽是红顶,所以有“红顶商人”一说;在明朝,官帽是黑色的,叫乌纱帽,大概沈一石之流可以被称为“乌纱商人”。红也好,黑也好,亦官亦商,总是好做生意。
中国古代的商人,尽管不在官场混,但他们都知道“天子”与“天下”的悖论。所以,他们往往会把商业智慧用到最不应该也是最应该的地方去,这就是勾结官府,权钱交易。不论是生存也好,还是发展也好,舍此别无做大做强的机会。商人们都深知两条规则:在商言商,千万不要与皇权作对,此其一;皇恩浩荡,粘上了就是巨额利润,此其二。事实上,对于多数商人来说,皇恩往往是通过各级官员的“跑冒滴漏”,间接地流入民间的。所以,为商之人都知道,没有官府的帮衬,生意根本就无法做强做大。
中国几千年来“官本位”的思想之所以长盛不衰,是因为皇权统治最终离不开官员,官员是统治的手段。而被作为手段的“官员”,也知道手中的权力是一种垄断性资源,这种资源是可以用来与商人进行交易的,它不是经商的充分条件,但却是必要条件,并能得到丰厚的收益。
帝王们都知道,官商勾结的后果是把“皇家私有”变成“官家私有”,从本质上讲,是把社会财富从一家之“国有”变成千百家之“官有”。从这个意义上说,中国封建社会的宫廷之争也好,官场之争也好,都可以说是国家所有权与经营权的斗争。中国的帝王为了稳固自己的“天下”,一面坚决让有钱的商人没有社会地位,一面想法子抄官员的家。这也是“天子”们的政治智慧。
然而,最后他剩下了什么呢?在承受官府的盘剥加上自己的无度挥霍之后,净资产已经所剩不多。于是,他把最后的流动资金都用于买粮,作最后一次豪赌,打算发一笔天灾人祸之财??借助官府的力量,低价收购灾民的土地。但因海瑞生扛硬顶,情况发生突变。他只好把用于买地的100多船粮食“奉旨赈灾”,最后血本无归。沈一石被迫走上了绝路,于是点上一把冬天里的火,把自己送上了西天。当然,他没有忘记把所有的经营账册拷贝了一份,分两个渠道送给了官府和朝廷,最终以自己的死点燃了烧向浙江官场更大的一把火。把官员烧得鸡飞狗跳,诚如他给高官的信中所言“沈某先行一步,俟诸公锒铛于九泉,此日不远”。
沈一石在他留给杨公公、郑泌昌、何茂才的信中写道:“我大明拥有四海,倘使朝廷节用以爱人,使民以时,各级官员清廉自守,开丝绸、瓷器、茶叶通商之路,仅此三项即可富甲天下,何至于今日之国库亏空!上下挥霍无度,便掠之于民,民变在即,便掠之于商。沈某今日之结局皆意料中事。然以沈某数十年备受盘剥所剩之家财,果能填国库之亏空否?”
